I always feel confident my car will be done with care, and I've never had to take my car back because the repairs were not properly done, so that I don't have to take them back because something wasn't right. That means sooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I've only been to Schneider's once, they did a very nice, reasonably priced job diagnosing and replacing my 1987 VW diesel conversion Vanagon's (a ride which many shops, including some in Simi, won't even consider working on) alternator. I will definitely go back.

The most important aspect of an auto repair shop is trust. Schneider's Automotive works on building that trust the minute you walk through the door. And it continues through their process of not just telling you what repairs they suggest, but sending you photos of the parts that need to be replaced. It is a transparent process and it is new to me. I took my 2016 Honda Accord in for service. It has 70k miles and has basically needed only oil changes and tires so I knew the car needed some work. These guys thoroughly examined the car and gave me a complete list of repairs they recommended and the cost for each. They showed photos of worn parts that backed up their recommendations. I recently moved to this area of Ventura County and it feels great to know I have an auto shop I can rely on for honest work at a fair price.
