Schneider’s Automotive Repair Bios

Ken Fay – Owner

Ken Fay

Ken and his wife Paula, purchased Schneider’s Automotive Repair in March of 2017 from Mitch Schneider, who formally retired from the Automotive Repair business. Mitch was determined to find the right people to turn his shop of over 40 years to and we think he did a great job! Ken previously owned another shop in the valley – Star AutoHaus, for over 20 years and in addition to owning the shop is a certified master mechanic. Ken decided to close Star AutoHaus in December of last year so he could focus his attention on continuing to build the legacy that Mitch created at Schneider’s and is thoroughly enjoying a much closer commute. If there is any spare time Ken enjoys camping and dirt bike riding in the winter and water skiing in the summer. His dream car is a 1969 Mach 1 with a 428 cobra jet engine, for which he is currently doing a “frame up” restoration. He loves Mexican food and can be found in his backyard shop tinkering on one of the many vintage cars that he collects, another of Ken’s passions. Ken brings over 35 years of automotive repair experience and truly enjoys meeting and working with our customers.

Paula Fay – Owner

Paula Fay

Paula has spent her career in home entertainment working with the studios but when Ken came home with the idea of buying a new shop, Paula was on board to join Ken in the day to day management of the shop plus she feels that she has years of automotive experience being married to Ken who often brings his work home with him! Paula enjoys camping, dirt bike riding and water skiing, and is also a passionate snow skier, her favorite sport. Ken and Paula love to travel and spend time with their 5 daughters. Currently Paula is raising 12 chickens and 1 rooster who occupy the backyard with her 2 horses, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Paula focuses on the marketing and branding of Schneider’s and can often be found chatting with clients and learning more about the inner workings of the shop! Paula’s goal is to get to know each and every customer who walks through the front door!

Robert Brunick

Robert aka “Bob” is our most seasoned veteran with 27 years at Schneider’s and 35 years of mechanical experience. Bob is originally a farm boy from Vienna, South Dakota where his family’s homestead farm is located. Like Justin, one of his favorite pastimes is working on and collecting cars and trucks. Bob is married with 2 children and has had many dream cars over the years. He’s known for his fierce determination to solve diagnostic problems and is often found studying complex diagrams late into the night!

David is the consummate family man and his main priority is spending time with his wife and 3 kids. His dream car is a brand-new Toyota Camry that he never has to work on, so he can take his family out for seafood dinners and trips to visit family and friends.
